SCI has received an 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services (STARS) contract. The 8(a) STARS is a multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract vehicle.

Under the terms of this Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC), SCI is a designated small business provider of technology solutions to federal government agencies under Functional Area 1 (Custom Computer Programming Services).

For Federal agencies, 8(a) STARS provides pre-competed, easy to use contracts that support small business and meet federal agencies meet their procurement preference goals.

Effective September 28, 2006, the competitive threshold on non manufacturing 8(a) contracts was raised to $3.5 million.
